    Pretty impressive performance that is much better than the burn-in we used to see.

    That said, I’m personally still rocking one of the early-generation 34" ultrawides, which is a standard LCD that I’ve had for the past 9 years at this point. And it looks exactly as new.

    That’s very much the sort of lifetime I would like to see from a screen. If my monitor doesn’t have any unexpected failures I can see myself easily still using it another five or ten years.

      It’s not unreasonable to expect a high-end monitor (at time of purchase) to work for ~10 years.

      It will take a long time before 1440 and higher becomes the majority.
