English title translations can be weird sometimes. My favorite case is when the posters/visuals in Japan will have an alternate title written out in English and then when it is officially licensed, a completely different English title is selected. I just made a comment about it the other day.

Yeah I’ve sewn a few cases of that. There was one where both were wrong but I can’t think of it off the top of my head. I feel like I’ve been scrolling through my anime tracking lists to find obscure entries a lot lately and lamenting the futility.

It’s correct, context is important. This is sugoi as in “I can’t believe you just said something crazy so casually.”

I know, I just feel like insane is too strong of a word, but its probably just because I’ve read several chapters a while back and the things they say actually being true makes it feel wrong to me.

Lol! This is probably one of my favorite chapters from this series. I have never really been a fan of the death game genre because it always feels so contrived. So, poking fun at it was very much appreciated.

They also used a gag that I have previously used in D&D campaigns; not locking the door. I had a whole dungeon that my players were exploring where I set up elaborate puzzles, traps, or monsters for them, but if they simply tried the doors, they would have found out that they were all open already. They eventually figured it out near the end.
