You know, I’m convinced shorts, instagram reels, etc spawn and create some of the most disgusting, fucked up people and then purposefully doesn’t censor or hide their content in order to drive engagement which has the dual purpose of acting as online stochastic terrorism. I know that second part sounds a bit overexaggerated, but I mean it when I’ve seen people posting their disability blogs getting hit with “eradicate the degenerates” kinda shit at the top, trans and PoC getting hit with racist and suicide jokes at the top and meanwhile younger people or the emotionally immature find this as a hilarious for pure edgy shock-value or as a “spite towards authority” and the cycle breeds more people like this which then slowly poisons their ideals and beliefs.

Meanwhile, a comment I make about China or a video gets immediately taken down as “spam”.
