I don’t understand why there are so many downvotes.
I don’t use Linux on desktop (office and some business apps aren’t supported and gaming is a pain), but I do use Linux for my ghetto DIY raspberry pi home server.
These memes just aren’t that funny. Its like making a meme that just says ‘windows users are stoopid!’ Even if you agree with that statement, its not funny…
As an example of one I do find funny, the first time I saw the arch user urinal meme, I chuckled a bit. Obviously after 50 million reposts its not as funny, but this isn’t like a top tier clever meme, and its funnier than anything this guy has posted.
Some are mediocre/bad, others are actually funny.
I just think you need to able to laugh at your own choices/ideas. Especially when it’s a relatively non-controversial topic like OS choice.
I just don’t think the user has a good sense of humor. I can totally laugh at Linux memes poking fun at users , distros, etc. But some of this users memes are just not funny, with a childish sense of humor. That’s fine, but then don’t expect a lot of up votes for what essentially amounts to fart and poop joke style of humor…
They went from a sort of funny post, this one about making a cake yourself from ingredients, similar to compiling everything yourself (sort of funny), to the post we’re currently commenting on, (not funny)
Also this one (not funny)
