It’s a shame this doesn’t work for very long, the video description explains it stops working after several hours

I am quite dubious that they actually produced a solar cell. Typically the good single crystal silicon ones get 0.5 V not 5 V. The physics here don’t make sense. These are really things that are better left to mass production.
