Toyota Gazoo Racing Cologne acting as a manufacturing contractor is hardly a “F1 return”, considering that they also work with McLaren which according to Toyota statements continues even after no longer providing the wind tunnel.
You’re right, even if they collaborate qith Haas next season as reported that wouldnt be much different to their McLaren relationship.
However:
