I feel like the bottleneck will be with smooth continuous motions. It’s very easy to move a cursor in that way with a mouse but you can’t do that motion with your eyes unless you are looking at something else that’s moving.

Okay I’ve had this astroid mining concept dining around my empty skull for a while now. The way I see it is that going up to space and mining an astroid for minerals and then bringing them back down to earth will never be a worthwhile endeavour. If you’re mining them in space and using the material manufacturing in space then that seems more plausible. The only way I can think of planetary based astroid mining being worthwhile is if instead of mining the rock and sending it down in crafts, you just bump the astroid so it’s on a collision course with earth and then mine whatever is left from impact. In anycase, I’d say we are far off being able to mine asteroids since imo, the only worthwhile way to do it is by having the entire process in space. And we’re not even close to that level of infrastructure existing in space.
This might actually be the pinnacle of bumper sticker trolling. I kneel
It’s not about being right. It’s not about having questions or concerns. It’s about wasting your time.
I’ve always felt that if you really subscribe to the ethos of death of the author then you should just consume all your media without learning anything about anyone who made it. And that is unbelievably dumb imo
Sort of off topic. I think learning new things about an author can make re-reading their works interesting.
Shoots self in foot
Bleeds out and dies
Fuckin AI
My argument is that I don’t think the demographic collapse will be as devastating as you made it out to be. Did you even read my comment?
I know. I don’t think it’s okay because everyone else is doing it
I’d say none of them deserve to suffer. I’ll cheer on the death of America all the same.
Keeping the murder machine on because people might die if we turn it off
Really liked that time the cia couped my democratically elected government
Was it ever really worth saving
Coward move. Stand up for yourself
China has proven itself able to change drastically and quickly. High speed rail and renewable energy. Both massive undertakings tackling massive problems for China and both done far faster and on a much larger scale than anywhere else. If there’s one country I actually trust to be proactive about securing its future, it’s China. I’ll take the wait and see approach to the supposed imminent demographic collapse
Does it really matter if someone is either
No, I don’t really enjoy life and never really have. I don’t want another person experiencing what I do.
No way the party incapable of doing anything defeated by the party capable of only evil, never would have seen this coming
Yeah no country has ever built a high speed passenger rail network interconnecting cities spread throughout an area comparable to the usa. And it’s absurd to think that it could be done in under 20 years and receive massive popular support and have universally recognised benefits. Guys the cost is too high for the biggest economy on earth and the distance is so far that they could never build a railway across it especially not more than 100 years ago.
(Well to be fair the Chinese did also build the railways across the US so maybe they do have something America doesn’t)
