I’m doing that, struggeling a lot. Maybe in 10 years i’m good enough to play games in japanese.

If you look at the mobile game fate grand order, it makes about 60% fo it’s revenue in japan and the rest is china and the global server. And fate itself as an anime franchise it for sure a lot bettern known in japan as well. I’m aware they look a lot a the japanese market first and mostly at all, as you mention, but for this title it makes a bit mor sense as part of a big franchise bettern known by their own adience. Still i hope the best for the Xbox plattform for japanese games.

I’m still playing Trails to Zero and plan to play Trails from Azure afterwards. Hadn’t much time in July, but August will be better…maybe…

The demo was probably not good for that game. I maybe still try to play it, but not sure. The dialogues in the game seems to be kind of childish and uninspiring. And a lot the weird quest with the key in the city. Everything about that city part was kinda bad written.

And i’m not sure about the gameplay, i took me a while to understand it, but it’s rather slow. The dodging doesn’t happend on instand, it happens when the last, slow, move is finished. So it hard to dodge on reaction, you need inteligent positioning befor the enemy starts to attack. The Elemental Vessel could make it probably more interresting, depending on the later ones. I would say at all the battle system is fine, but nothing to special.

Well the graphic is very stiff, but i like it a bit.

The demo has a bit to much flaws for me, so i would say it’s a title i get with discount and then try to get into it. 70€, so Square Enix AA price tag, is quite a lot.

I completly forgot this game…Maybe i shoud put in on my list of games i’m interrested in. New Studio, new ideas, nice jrpg inspiration and high quality graphic (which is rare for jrpg’s nowadays). They try something and a rather nice genre. I guess i should give them a chance. They don’t have a big publisher, so hope they don’t overdo it with this graphic and it turns out bad because of money.

i forgot the possibility to buy 360 games on the newer Xbox consoles. Seems all game mentioned in the comments are playable on Xbox one/series consoles. That’s good.

If you show me Infinite Undiscovery novadays, i would even be slightly interrested. Blue Dragon seems to be another game with Akira Toriyama as Illustrator, as always nice style, i especial like the monster designs. Sad these game won’t be that easly to obtain anymore.

A lot of games give you answer options with most of the time, one of them is the stupid answer, that makes the protagonist at least a troll or an idiot. But i guess they doesn’t mean that.

I’m not sure if we really need realistic graphic. The advantage of most jrpg’s is, that we usualy have anime style art. Sure the model get here as well more and more complex, but they doesn’t have to be that detailed as realistic graphic and maybe we don’t want that as well. About the silent protagonist…well i guess i prefer the nto silent one. But if we have one, giving them some kind of character, like joker (persona 5) is something i prefer.

Sorry if the text is maybe a bit of a mess, 2 hours sleep and 10 hours work doesn’t help to be focused anymore.

Was never really interested to be 100% correct about what I write. But because of you I look how it work on Firefox. I need to install an Add-on for every language. Ahhh not really in the mood to use it but i give it a go since you kindly point it out to me. Seem it corrected already a word for me, didn’t know interested is written like that. But that won’t change that i sometimes just don’t care.

It’s not possible or at least not for now. That’s something that has to be implemented and the devs of Lemmy doesn’t seem to be interrested in that feature. Kbin is kind of something inbetween Lemmy and Mastodon, you be able to post on Lemmy and Mastodon, but i’m not sure about the future of kbin.

While Mastodon, Lemmy, Misskey and a lot other software plattforms are connected in the Fediverse. You should be aware, that different software work different on the Fediverse. Mastodon is designed liker Twitter/X, to be a Plattform posint short messages or news. Lemmy is more designed like a forum, not as user based as Mastodon, more in communities. There is a connection between a lot different Software Platforms on the Fediverse, but not every feature is on every plattform. So you are not able to downvote a Lemmy post from Mastodon. You have the option to interact with Lemmy posts with a Mastodon account and it’s a valid way to do it, but for the full experience on all Plattform, you should make yourself an account on every Plattform that is important for you.

I have never used the Mastodon app, i think a lot 3rd Party apps are better on Mastodon, so i don’t know how it looks, but Mastodon has, or had, a weird form in showing commet trees in my opinion.
