Yeah more an improbably accepted suggestion than a bad one. Played out, I agree you would see a lot more rationality out of a calmer electorate who are more in touch with their reactions to things.

This smacks of “Build up your heat tolerance to prepare for global warming” and other nonsense.

The problems are all in our head, we’d be better if we just thinked better!

    Edit: typo

I mean tbf the kind of person that can even stand trying meditation is probably also the kind of person who’s a lot less likely to become a fascist.

Back in the day when I was still a bit inside the fascist rabbit hole I used to meditate a lot. Self care only goes so far when you don’t understand why you don’t get paid well, or why the culture you’re in simultaneously lauds and frowns upon sexual promiscuity, or why you’re suppressing most of your emotions. Just naming a few things.

I still was pretty miserable. I’m in a way better place mentally despite everything going on in the world than back in those days. The hardcore fash must be fucking miserable.

A massive committed elongated labor strike can quell everything the elite are currently trying to manifest.

The power always lies with the many not the few, but for the illusion.
