Twisters was surprisingly good and might even pick up steam from good word-of-mouth.
As a big fan of the original, Twisters was an excellent spiritual sequel to the original. Apart from the weather situation/name, I don’t think there was anything else to connect the two films. Although my wife was hoping the Daisy’s mum was going to be Helen Hunt.
It’s such a non-offensive, wonderful piece of entertainment, and they almost mention climate change but stop a few breaths short. :-)
The Regulation Podcast made a fantastic summer movie auction game. Maybe Despicable Me will save Nick!.
