Which is expected. You should only be able to access company resources via the VPN and if it drops then you lose access.
That’s what I thought as well, but after a brief clarification from EU, they meant they can work normally, but is worried about the scary message.
Remember to give the EU some carrot for a false positive. It will make them more likely to report things in the future.
People always forget about the carrot part of the stick.
