What do you guys think was the intention with this? I recently had an episode of mania, and was behaving a bit oddly, but I confirmed with my mother (this was her condo I’m renting it) that it wasn’t here when she left and I’ve never seen it before :|

People sometimes do this to scout easy targets to rob.

If it didn’t move until their next burglary spree, you probably haven’t been home since they planted it.

Put it away and ask around if your neighbours had something out of place in their front yard.

Thought so, I had just been out of town for that solar eclipse in Texas. Pretty wonky experience during totality, felt like the eye of God was looking at me and telepathy-ing me. I went to the EDM festival with a friend of mine that has been a pysche ward nurse in the past and she didn’t say anything til I was home for a day. Good chance I didn’t notice it until I was doing mania stuff and went “wat this rock”.

If it’s the rock with the calcite or quartz circle, and if we ascribe any cultural/spiritual meaning to it, the closest I can think is you found a wishing stone.

If you already struggle with some form of mental illness, it’s probably best to assume that you’re being irrational, rather than ascribe any meaning to this particular thing. There is a lot of random stuff that happens, and you could project meaning onto any of it to create a narrative. Unless you have a good reason to believe that a specific person or group is messing with you (not just a vague sense of unease) then it’s very likely that it means nothing.

First, where do you get a rock rock.

Second, I’m pretty sure that’s to rile you up. Pick it up, piss on it, mark it in sharpie with a “fuck you” then reverse what I just said and place exactly where you found it.

“fuck you” is too on the nose. It’s basically the confirmation the riler wants.

Put a single dot on the bottom in sharpie, just small enough that the person won’t know if it was already there and they missed it, or if OP put the dot there.

Then place it exactly back where it was before, and pretend to not have noticed it.

That, or replace it with as similar a rock as possible.

& I do realize in hindsight it is a lot smaller than 4 inches. As the other poster suggested, I’m not trying to ascribe meaning to it… just wondering if anyone is familiar with the potential symbology.

I grew up in a literal haunted house. All of my 4 older siblings had things happen, their friends would never want to sleep over after one time and would often leave early. Even my older brother when he was 16 with 4 other teenage boys had an apparition appear in the garage they were all sleeping and they ran out screaming.

My first memory with it was playing hide and seek when I was 4 and being under a desk, with my ear pressed against the wall. I heard a man’s whispering. I didn’t realize until I was 18 that where that wall bordered was directly adjacent to the closet one of my sisters had a shadowy figure stare at her from at night for years. She would often ask if any of us would sleep in there with her at night as she was terrified.

I am 100% serious, though being diagnosed later in life with bipolar type 1… Well, it is hard to be definitive about such things. I have another example if y’all are interested in hearing about it :|
