I wonder what material conditions led H.B. to design this poster! I can definitely feel the artist’s frustration through this piece. Could you please link their socials?

I don’t care about the AI panic, I think this style combined with stencil could be a simple —and fun— way to create propaganda out there

This message has been told again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again, sometimes with slightly different wording, different visuals

But instead of using one of the already existing versions of this post, someone decided to use a machine to create the most boring version i have seen

Completely ignoring the gist of the message while pointing and laughing at the tool that was used to create it. Brilliant.

The message is what makes it so ironic. I get it though… I’m surrounded by pro AI folks. You guys keep using a product designed with stolen data that uses an unreasonable amount of energy to continue virtue signaling on socials for views and engagement. Pathetic.

This is some really idealistic brain worms with no analysis of the current system…

“AI”, as much as I personally dislike the term, is already here. You can’t go back after you already have it. The only thing you can change right now is what to use it for. And if you make an argument akin to “if only all people collectively decided not to use this power-hungry tech and save the planet” - that’s not how our society works.

Sure, we’d like to not roast the entire planet with this techbro, stolen data Silicon Valley bullshit, but that’s well beyond our control.

No I can just not use it. It is not an integral part of any functions of my life or yours. It isn’t “here” as much as its forced into our lives; not organically arriving like some tech panacea. It’s was created with stolen data by companies too big to take accountability and you’re just “OH WELL JUST USE IT I DON’T SEE A PROBLEM WITH IT CAUSE IT’S JUST HOW IT IS HURDUR”. Good god, man…
