Taco Bell used to be the place you could go to after digging coins out of the couch or payphones :(

I still remember when tacos were 59¢, taco supremes were 79¢, and taco supremes with chicken or steak were 99¢.

Yeah, my tacobell isnt even being repaired… tiny fire in the entrance and all that happened was months ago some blue tarp covers it and dumpsters sit empty outside…

7 dollar box, and the 2.99 nachos gets you a huge amount of “food” for $10. Did it last night in a pinch. Still seems like a lot for fast food but every fast food place is fucking nuts recently. Feel the same on prices. I remember I looked when they had the cantina menus and just laughed. 4 dollars for a taco - get fucked.

My wife and I weren’t always the biggest taco bell fans but kind of started enjoying it over the past few years from time to time. They were already badly priced, but the last time we went I noticed they took away the 1 decently priced item which was $6 box which came with 1 higher end option, a taco, the small nachos, and a drink. We would get 2 of these and maybe another taco or 2 and it was more than enough for like just under $15. Now? Without that option we tried our best and it was about $20 now and less food. Definitely think we’re done going now that it’s about the same price as the local Mexican spot.
