Stupid parasites… Last time I had to remove a tick from my SO, it wasn’t having any of it. Never had to use so much force to get it out. I guess the economy is bad for the ticks too! .

Permethrin treatment for clothes is probably the best option. It incapacitates ticks and prevents biting.
Couple that with picaridin and/or deet for extreme scenarios.
You can suffocate them with nail polish like chiggers
This made me imagine people hiking around in short shorts with stiff and shiny legs.
