I think it was parked specifically in case /r/AH decided they were done with Reddit. That’s unlikely of course, as they’ve specifically said many times that they don’t actually like Reddit all that much as a platform, it’s just where the audience is. Most of the flaired users seem to be young(ish) academics with solid credentials, but not ones that guarantee immediate tenure-track employment, so I get a sense that they value the exposure.

I would love to see people getting into a serious, “sources please” history Lemmy community, but I don’t know if this one specifically is right for it.
