Ramen is great, but it is better with additional fixings.
This was just soy sauce Maruchan in the microwave with an egg thrown in. I stirred in a couple tablespoons of mayonnaise to smooth out the broth. Other options could be cheese or milk. The egg needs extra time in the oven or it won’t cook thoroughly enough.
I also heated up some ham and some stir fry veggies in a small bowl and added them. You could add any leftover meat if you are adventurous enough. I really like slicing up cabbage and frying it when I get the chance. It adds a certain texture to the bowl.
Finally, I added some Sriracha and ghost pepper sauce on top. That gives it a nice punch that still cools me off on a hot day.
Cabbage is god’s food.
I like braising it shredded with bacon and onions.
