But I’m saying, as an environmentalist, we have failed to shift the narrative and we are still caught up in the same legal, economic and political systems.

For me, what we’ve got to do now is hunker down. The units of survival are going to be local communities, so I’m urging local communities to get together.

    Yeah sadly yes more about economics and at scale production of goods we need. EU supply chain laws will help with that somewhat. I spend a few euros extra for green power and don’t buy cheap meat if possible. Reduced frequency and improved quality helps animal welfare and the climate which is a good tradeoff for me without having to stop eating meat completely. I strive for a majority plant based diet without falling into the vegan ego trip trap. I’m somewhat improving, but far from perfect. :)
