    I dont understand why “homo” is used as an insult

    Of course he is part of the Homo genus, its not hard to tell

    The most confusing part is that the one who says this as an insult dont know that they are also insulting themselves. Homo habilis is part of the Homo genus too

      Well meaning, but sort of intentionally obtuse. You know very well homo is a slur to those people as shorthand for homosexual. What’s the point in pretending that’s not what it obviously means in this context?

        Check out what Homo Habilis actually is and you’ll understand the comment.

        Edit: the top comment was using the ‘homo’ slur as a way to call the right winger a monkey essentially.
