Just installed the new version 2024.2 of @jetbrains #webstorm
I really really hate the new UI and I am very annoyed how Jetbrains tries to force me to use it.
Now it’s even just a plugin 😠
Jetbrains, I’m a paying customer. This will stop at the moment when you no longer support the classic ui.
What does the new UI look like? There haven’t been any noticeable changes for me, but I’m on 2024.1 at the moment.

Why do you hate it? Anything that the new UI does worse than the old one?
@frobscottle It makes so many things less accessible for me. I just want a classic menu bar with (sub-)menu items. I don’t want to put some often used actions in the menu bar (I probably know the hot keys for those anyway), I just want a clean menu structure.
