It had been sitting in water so the main board needed to be cleaned. Also the AV jacks on the front were broken so they had to be re-soldered. Also the front glass was badly scratched so I managed to polish most of them out using cerium oxide powder and an electric sander. Ideally I would have ground down the area first with silicon carbide but that adds a lot of time to the process, I still may do it but not any time soon.

That’s the coolest thing somebody did to a CRT I’ve ever heard. Great job! I had one and didn’t knew what happened to it. It just didn’t turn on
