Twice now nunez has taken balls that gakpo had a much better shot at, that one where he was clearly offside especially stings

What a shame that they couldn’t complete that little one-two-one-two move early in the second half, goal of the season contender if Salah had been able to get his shot away.
Not that the one he took was anything to sniff about, gorgeous finish.

Yeah, would have been so easy to panic and dive in, but they did well.
Lovely goal from Diaz, and a bonus for me as I had only just turned on the match as Brentford were taking their corner. 20 seconds later, goal.
Couple of sloppy moments from Gravenberch, and some fairly haphazard defending from TAA not long before the break (when Brentford got a shot off from the edge of the box), but overall Liverpool looking ok I’d say.
