    This is always so fascinating! I had read another article not too long ago about an orangutan in the wild that was observed making a sort of poultice from chewed leaves to put on an open wound on its face. I guess it was the first time that orangutans were seen treating themselves with medicinal plants. Here’s BBC’s article on it.

      Lovely article, great you thought of sharing it. Herbalism is a quite recent thing for me tbh. It’s like a hole new world to me, even tho I know it’s a super old one.
