It seems like its going to get better as more people wise up that Trump’s kind (the prototypical real Republican) offers them nothing and promises to take everything away, piece by piece until its Saudi Arabia/Iran/North Korea/Russia/China/Venezuela
If you genuinely believe that politics will improve with either of the Duopoly candidates in office, I wish you the best of luck with that. Personally, I don’t see it that way at all!
Thats okay but its not a practical or feasible approach unless you’re happy with being a Cassandra and reinforcing perfection/impossibillity as the standard and consequently ruling out gradual improvement that is more doable.
That will be all my thoughts on the matter so don’t feel bad if I don’t continue this vein of discussion, its just not my arena :/
We have strong 3rd parties so it sometimes works out for us sometimes not but its arguably a better negotiating position to ultimately getting Ranked Choice or a nominally more sane electoral format than First Past the Post which benefits established political duopoly incumbents
