    Am I missing something? In the US I can’t buy the 1V and get the bootloader unlocked by Sony. Or did that change?

      You have been able to buy Sony phones unlocked and able to get the bootloader. But with the IV/V Sony lock it because of Verizon.

      There are ways to bypass it on xda.
