From Trump campaign signs to Planned Parenthood bumper stickers, license plate readers around the US are creating searchable databases that reveal Americans’ political leanings and more.
In my experience those who put their political opinions on their car are morons anyway
“Morons deserve do be surveilled.” Noted.
These cameras are now recording lawn signs as well now, which tends to be a bit more of a broad array of intelligence.
They are also recording people, along with precise location and time. This is mass surveillance, and it reaches beyond bumper stickers.
Every day America shows me one more reason I never want to visit it again.
Yeah, well if Dimitri Martin doesn’t want to hang out with a guy with an MST3K silhouette sticker and an HHGTTG green guy on his car, he’s missing out because I could introduce him to a lot of cool stuff.
