Had my yearly physical. I quit drinking almost two years ago, and I’m in perfect health for a 52 year old.

20 lbs lighter, cholesterol is great, liver enzymes are all normal…

I literally have nothing to work on, other than to keep doing what I’m doing.

I’m so thankful I finally managed to quit.

Congratulations!! I’m so happy for you.

I quit drinking completely about two weeks ago. I had some blood work today and my ast enzymes are still high. How long did it take for your ast levels to go back to normal? I’m just asking because you mentioned it’s been two years.

Again, congrats. I’m proud of you

Mine were basically normal/high normal after two months or so. I also took milk thistle which I think helped.

That was my next question. If there are supplements or something that promotes liver health. Milk thistle you say? I’ll look into it. Thank you very much.
