    It’s always weird to read how people used to talk on the internet. 09’ wasn’t that long ago, but the wording and conversation on this post just feels slightly off. It’s all a little more polite and toned down, less dramatic, but also more playful? I don’t know exactly how to put it into words, but reading older forum conversations makes me feel nostalgic for something I frankly never really experienced.

      I think it was a lot more raw and much less polished (disregarding that fact that this was 4chan). People were simply more excited to be online and sharing whatever it was they were talking about, rather than crafting a personality image

    Didn’t someone figure out how the hashing worked and hen everyone was able to predict the last number?

    Wish I remembered what year it became common knowledge

      This would be funnier if we removed the other number replies. Happens once it believably looks like a miracle happened, six times in a row it’s too obvious they’re gaming the system for the bit.

        I thought so too, but the sequence was sure wide and thus still impossible to predict what yours would be.

        Apparently not.
