    It’s harder to advocate for destroying things one possesses.

    If we want to end Capitalism, not being invested in it is probably more helpful than not.

    That said, I have met a fair few people that would fall under the label of “Leftist” that have had small businesses. Although not the hyper-radical left.

      Which perhaps might also speak to another division, reformists vs revolutionaries. Eg those who want to bargin to make gradual improvements in conduct/practices or believe such is possible vs those who think something more drastic or conclusive is necessary as far as changing everything.
