Alright, I haven’t been religiously keeping up with the heathcliff without heathcliff lore that I’ve seen in the past few of these, so I got a few questions:
What’s the deal with the orb thing?
What’s up with the frog?
What’s goin’ on with the under monsters?
Also, as a side note, has anyone ever told you that you have too much time on your hands? No? Because you were busy doing this? Fair.
Honestly, making one per day was crazy enough, making a few per day is some wild commitment that I can appreciate.
First I only remove Heathcliff, except on Sundays. Orbs giants, helmets, etc are other people. I just post them here (Lemmy) so people know that there are others taking their own spin on Heathcliff.

Yes. It’s why I get really uncomfortable when people ask why my hobbies are. People frequently have zero idea how I have enough time to do everything and I see them get visibly uncomfortable if I start listing things.
spoiler
This week I’m building a new solar battery bank, editing Heathcliff, cooking from scratch, listening to about 160 podcast episodes, doing drywall, caulking a shower, starting my “it’s too cold to be outside with my ducks, geese and chickens, let’s boot up Minecraft” annual habit, fostering 4 kittens, rotating my raised beds for winter crops. 20% chance I’ll burn 4 hours trying to help teach a domestic abuse person to not be a victim. But that last one might just be trauma from last week rearing its head. Might knit a new hat if I have time.
Anyway, yes. Lots. People say it all the time.
What’s the deal with the orb thing?
I don’t know why Erik started doing orbs. As a one off it would have been weird. As a constant gag it’s kinda amazing how he can always fit orbs in.
What’s up with the frog?
Jimmy was introduced just a few years ago.
The joke was that Heathcliff supported him and was his only fan. No one else in the Heathcliff universe liked Jimmy. Which resulted in him being loved by Heathcliff readers.
What’s goin’ on with the under monsters?
Erik takes the Heathcliff comic and expands the panel to make room for Kaiju. Japanese giant creatures meet Heathcliff.

I’m going to take these out of order.

Thanks for the lengthy reply, very interesting!
I was mostly joking about having too much time on your hands, but hobbies are good, nice! I have way too many as well.
