Good. There’s a word for “alternative medicine” that works.

    The word is “medicine.”

Everything else is a fraud at best and deadly, like this, at worst.

Off-topic but I had a feeling you’d be the first commenter, lol. I remember running into you all the time in r/skeptic.

Agreed, it’s one thing to believe nonsense, but it’s entirely different when you start taking advantage of sick and desperate people. And that’s without even addressing the fact that this isn’t even the first time this dude has caused the death of a diabetic person. The other one was a 6-year-old boy.

Reading the title you’d think that, but they actually died because he convinced them to stop taking their insulin.

        not just that:

Hongchi Xiao, 61, was convicted of manslaughter by gross negligence for failing to get medical help for Danielle Carr-Gomm as she howled in pain and frothed at the mouth during the fourth day of a workshop in October 2016.

By day three, Carr-Gomm was "vomiting, tired and weak, and by the evening she was howling in pain and unable to respond to questions,” prosecutor Duncan Atkinson said.

so this lady was in pain and unable to respond for roughly 24 hours and they did nothing.
