I have a four CD wallets with about 200 burnt CDs and DVDs in them … music, movies, videos, ebooks, backups, data, MP3s, entire wikipedia archives, ISOs and OS install CDs.
All sitting in my closet. Sometimes I drag them out just to see if they all still work and they work just great. It’s somehow comforting knowing that if the end of the world arrives, I’ll still have a semi reliable data bank of information to keep me entertained until I get murdered for the last few cans of beans in my basement.
