Hell, I’ve been living at my current place for 7 years now. In the short ~100m street I live in there has literally always been some construction project or other. heck, a new one just started a couple of weeks ago. 7 years…
The point is that for the overwhelming majority of people, they simply don’t have a roof to put them on. And if you do, it’s only a matter of time before yet another permit is blindly granted for a neighbor to build an additional storey or two, putting your panels in shade, with no recourse or compensation.
