    Summary:

The UK government is committed to doubling onshore wind energy by 2030. To achieve this, they are removing the de facto ban on onshore wind in England and revising planning policy to make it easier to get approval for new wind farms. These changes will take effect immediately.

We will stop the world turning with our windmills, just as Trump feared. Then the sun will truly never set on us again

    Let’s go!

Also, has anyone figured out good uses for old wind turbine blades? Seems that the current popular solution is to bury them.

I’ve heard the offshore ones stop small boat crossings by smashing them with their fins. This undoing of Tory policy is going to mean that proper British tax payers are the ones getting slapped about. Plus the view from my tenant’s flat will be affected. I’ll have to charge them to block the windows up. Bloody hippies.
