    Right? So many aspects of that dream as defined on that page are still applicable and achievable by most people who are willing to work for it. The dream is recognized by millions of immigrants each year, as well as people who do achieve upwards mobility and a measure of liberty and happiness. This post seems to be nothing more than generalized negative propaganda.

      I mean i understand why there is a negative attitude about the American dream. The basic goals including having a house, married with two kids, and job and financial security are just up and unreachable even when working hard. This lack of stability also prevents other interpretations of the American dream from happening.

      My thing is, the Wikipedia page points out that the American dream is in flux recognizing that past milestones are a poor and unreachable goal. Its a sad fact but i don’t see it as a funny irony. Unless there was an aspect of the wiki page he would like to point out.
