The dynamics are different this time around though unlike they were during the Scramble for Africa. Russia is coming with Chad’s permission not by force a la France. Chad is in a much stronger position to negotiate with Russia. And from what I’ve read online -many Chadians speak Arabic- they are happy with this development.
There’s two differences though. 1. The Imperial Czarist Russia doesn’t exist anymore, that dynasty and government was wiped out and so was its USSR successor. The France that committed the crimes in Africa still exists and is still benefiting from the unequal relationship. 2. Russia isn’t invading or colonizing Chad and isn’t relaying on its colonial legacy and currency control, it is a consensual relationship.

France still controls the currency of Chad and other African countries. Russia is nowhere near having this control. The legacy between the two will be different. France colonized, robbed, and massacred people in Africa. To Africans Russia doesn’t carry that legacy.
While Russia doesn’t have a history of colonialism in Africa, maybe ask the Circassians what they think of that.

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that.
I’m sorry reality doesn’t mesh well with your western chauvinism. If Russia misbehaves booting it will be far easier than booting France.
