I’m sick with a fever and cough, I went to bed at 1800 and just woke up. Too tired to even sit up 😔
Yeah I was laid up in bed with a virus, the fireworks woke me up… grumble
I didn’t bother with social convention and went to bed when I was tired, around 11pm. Woke up at 7am, well-rested. Good way to start the new year, recommended. I think I’ll have a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel for breakfast - it’s really good with spicy Stubb’s BBQ sauce.
I didn’t even do that.
It’s summer here and it was still light out when I dragged my creaky old bones into bed.
I wrote to people “happy new year”
