Elon Musk has gone fucking crazy. Every post he makes is antagonizing the UK and posts about how shitty the UK is are getting boosted.
Hes acting as a heel that is serving to legitimatize the fucking godawful kkkraker fascist government and serve as an easy punching bag that can make people rally around our politicians in the UK on a point they all agree with.
Its blatant upper class collaboration between the UK and the US, nothing more, UK politicians get a poll boost because they can score some easy PR wins, Musk likely gets better trade deals.
Not only that, he is also boosting far-right parties like AfD vehemently. It seems that with his newfound political power he will try to instigate the ascent of as much fascist parties to power as is possible for an influential multimillionaire. He might be a lunatic, but in no way is he a complete fool.
And what liberals are doing to counter him are of course insufficient.
goes on to rant about the rise of far-right in the EU
Their politicians and like-minded journalists can shout all they want about how Russian propaganda corrupts the EU from within, and call for banning Russian media outlets, but when it comes to USA and Elon Musk in particular, we can only ‘condemn his intervention’ into the politics of European countries. No one would possibly think about blocking X or the like. No one would lift a finger to actually prevent him from spearheading the rise of the far-right in the EU. I’m usually optimistic but it can’t be helped if 80 years after USSR crushed the Nazi Germany more and more countries are drifting to the right. Germany, France, Austria, Greece, Italy, what the heck is happening to Europe? Have we forgotten?
he is not wrong there
He sees a chance to gain influence in arguably the second most influential western country of this moment, so he takes it. And as always with liberal ideology, they let him.
