Just to put some perspective: polls. The Emerson College one at the top is notable in several ways.

I suspect that if it really was over, they wouldn’t be trying so hard to put out propaganda that it was over. In fact, I think it’s safe to say that a ramping up of the vigor level in the attempts to paint Biden as a clear loser and invest hard in capitalizing on his fuckup of a debate is indicative of someone thinking that that’s badly needed.

The democrats beat the republicans on a generic ballot by one percent. The fact it gets worse when you add Biden into the mix is very concerning.

It’s not like most people are voting for Biden as much as against Trump anyway. They should just open up the field and hopefully change him.

        Holy shit! That’s awesome.

So when you poll all registered voters, not attempting to correct for likeliness to vote which favors Biden, it’s within 3 percentage points? Dude that’s really good news. Also it looks like it barely dropped after the debate. This is all zoomed in to like 1% being this big jump, so yeah it ticked down by 2 points but whatever. IDK, polling methodology is kind of shit anyway, and they needed to include the 3rd party candidates which for some weird reason seems like it would shift it back to Trump. You can’t really tell much from this.

But yeah it’s really good news that it’s still basically within the range of statistical noise. You gotta tell the media, they’ve been super scared about what the debate meant for Biden’s chances, and I’m sure they’ll be really glad to be able to tell everyone that the voters are smarter than they were giving them credit for and were already aware that Biden is old.

I was gonna say something snarky about this chart, too, but I think I’m just gonna let it speak for itself:

Pathetic. That’s what it is. Against a traitor, rapist, convicted felon, and more. It’s disheartening.

No matter what happens, the result was always going to be the same long term

Moderates say it proves the DNC needs to become more conservatives because progressives bad.

Then republicans become more extreme to differentiate themselves from moderates.

Conservatives and other center right types vote reliably. They also donate reliably. They also campaign and run for office. Often all of that is largely connected.

Lefties if they run, unfortunately tend to be in competing smaller parties. Many looking for a new purity test weekly to virtue signal and not vote over. (Slight exaggeration) And don’t reliably donate or vote much. This isn’t a defense of Democrats etc. Far from. Just pointing out that expecting them to cater to you for very little in return is not logical.

If you want them to court you and run candidates you’d like. You need to work to make yourself valuable to them. Show solidarity and compromise with other left leaning voters. Running candidates and collectively pushing issues through the party that you would like to see. Not screaming and calling them genocide lovers when they point out to you that the only realistic options are either Democrats or Republicans and both unfortunately mean some level of genocide.
