I dunno about good food. Inmates are fed Nutraloaf, which is described as the most bland grainy wet packing material that sticks to your teeth and is only vaguely reminiscent of meatloaf.
They also categorically do not get quality healthcare or education.

E: on a more serious note, the fact that the prospect of having all your needs met just because they should be, makes you think of prison is not only absurd and concerning, but mostly a testament to how powerful capitalist indoctrination is. You should look in to that.
