At least four members of the Squad have expressed support for Biden since the first presidential debate. Two have enthusiastically backed him, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.

Bit of an exaggeration to call “Biden is running in the race so I support him.” an enthusiastic endorsement. Talib has very good reasons to not be endorsing Biden, she’d be throwing away her own credibility with her constituency if she was backing him.

I think the authors of this article are kind of desperate to manufacture division on the left and isolate members, all the members of the Squad are making their calculations based on what’s most effective from their vantage, I don’t think that really indicates some kind of strife.

He’s also helped on a lot of the policies they supported. Green investment, student loan forgiveness, stuff like that. It’s only fair that they support him in return, even if he hasn’t always done the right thing.

If the squad gives the establishment the tiniest quote that’s negative towards Biden and then Biden loses, the establishment will lay the entire blame for Trump on the left, the media will back them up, and the American electorate will swallow it. This is a time for progressives to let the establishment sink or swim on their own, not to provide an easy scapegoat.

The left has got to learn to let it’s politicians be politicians. What works for an activist doesn’t work for someone in public office.
