    More likely she targeted on 1) proximity and clear path to doors 2) direction of travel due to possible motion sickness or 3) availability of handholds and/or 4) suffered from arthritis.
    Can be a minefield getting from a train seat to doors in time to get off at a station - I found this out when I had a cracked pelvis - could walk but wasn’t steady and jerks and sudden changes of direction were REALLY PAINFUL. I was ruthless about getting a seat I could get out of in time without falling over. Even if this meant evicting a young person with no visible disabilities.
