I (18nb) have a dad who constantly complains about what I eat. If I eat anything sugary, even a mini donut or donut hole, he complains about how I “always” eat sweet stuff and how I’ll get fat.
In fact, my friend Jayden (17M) says I’m one of the healthiest eaters he knows, who just eats sweets once in a while. However, my dad (and the rest of my family) obviously I always eat junk food.
Even when I eat healthy most of the time and have a balanced diet, he complains about that one time I ate a donut hole.
My family constantly talks about my weight and then gets mad when I don’t eat.
I’m aware I’m not toothpick-thin, but my doctor always says I’m of healthy weight and that he’d tell me if I wasn’t.
He also yells that I’m “always” using my phone when I’m just checking the time or responding to one message that takes like two seconds. Even if the message is important.
