Who knows when “the right time” is for this type of departure? Maybe it’s been in the works for months and going now gives us the chance to prepare well for the summer transfer window? I agree with your comment, apart from the first sentence. My take is that it was pretty even and if anything we had better quality periods of control. Neither of our goals were flukes or too against the run of play. I’d say that a team that’s goes ahead twice is mostly more deserving of taking all the points. We were pushing to add a third but got caught on the break with a below par defence. In addition, the stats were pretty even.
