When I was questioning my sexuality (I recently had broken up with a guy who wasn’t paying attention to me and subsequently started being interested in girls), I also felt really awkward hearing girls talk about teen boy idols.

I felt like I was supposed to like them, but I didn’t find them attractive at all. I did go through a boy idol phase due to comphet, I felt pressured by my straight friend.

Honestly? Not until high school. I was always pretty hetero as far as I knew. I related to the other girls and when they talked about romance with guys, I could relate because I too liked guys and for a while, my crushes were only guys.

I met this really pretty girl and I thought I just wanted to be her friend until I realized I felt the same way about her as I did my guy crushes. Fortunately, she was a lesbian :)

1. Artistic nudes are fine unless detailed depictions are included. Most of the time, yes, any form of nudity from a person triggers my phobia. Cleavage (or people in bras) is fine with me but not the whole deal, especially not with the nipples.

I think this started sometime at age 11 during puberty. I was disgusted by things like sex scenes on TV, and was disgusted by anything involving nudity, which included having to look at my growing breasts.

If I don’t look at it, I tend to be fine and can wash myself. Soap can also cover a great deal of the area.

Not really, as I’ve never had to dress in front of anyone, nor have they in front of me. When they discuss sex or people being nude in front of them though it can irk me a lot.

Yeah… I’m not sure, she seems to acknowledge the behavior but doesn’t seem to acknowledge the severity, impact, or morality of it.

That makes sense. I mean, my sister has shown me messages from her and this friend, where the friend does indeed admit to doing this, but says “Yeah, well I only do this to people who deserve it” and stuff about people being useless.

Isn’t this common with things like abusive relationships too? To trick the S/O into staying because they’re the only one who “understands”/“loves” them?
