The complacent generations that have allowed the erosion of our freedoms and liberty allowed it. Will the younger generations of today do the same?? I think not.

I’m so sick of everyone trying to normalize this. Accept it before it’s even happened. It’s up to the American people whether this is tolerated or not. Accepted or not. Everyone can either roll over and accept the end of our democracy or they can take to the streets and do something about it.
In Georgia it’s illegal to travel 15 or more under the posted speed limit, including on non interstate roads, unless otherwise posted.
Edit: getting downvoted for saying facts about my state. Yall are weird
It’s also been outlawed in certain states. Many of those same states have outlawed voter led initiatives, meaning they have no recourse to change to rcv without changing the majority of their states legislators with people that support it and will pass it. You’re talking over a lifetime of change necessary to undo that damage. That still is hoping that dems will actually vote against their own best interests once in majority control…
I’m certain the dems and Republicans will vote to end their strangle hold on us politics in just 1 more election cycle!!! Our maybe the next… or maybe the next…
Highway speeds are already dangerous. Living in utter fear of people marginally over the speed limit to think an irritating beep is justified the moment you exceed the limit is a sad existence to torment yourself with.
Do you legitimately believe getting in an accident going the speed limit on the highway is less dangerous than 5 or 10 mph hours over?
I read cops were stopping people from fleeing the evacuation zone in Georgia’s chemical fire today
Make them smaller and smaller, even more expensive and cram as many generations as you can into them. The American dream
Ballot access I can kinda understand, but excuse me wtf to “their votes should not count”
Whata really concerning is the other person I was talking with just downvoted me and never answered my question. Republicans have a way of making dems look bad in media. If their pursuit is truly just passing a redundant bill saying “in order to register to vote, you must provide proof of citizenship” and nothing else, then there is no reason to oppose this bill. It just gives Republicans ammunition to use in media saying “see dems want illegals to vote!!” . If their goal is to do something nefarious to actually make it more difficult to vote, then democrats should be able to clearly articulate what that thing is.
I understand what you’re saying and am in agreement if that’s the case, yet the article solely mentions requiring proof of citizenship across the country when registering. What tests are they trying to add to the equation? If it’s just requiring proof, and everywhere already does that, how is this any different then ensuring some states can’t remove that requirement from their local laws?
This appears to be referbcing registering to vote, “new voters”. Not to actually vote. Is that wrong?
I stated facts. Ones that you can easily verify with an internet search. What you read into my words is not of my concern. While you sit there thinking I have ill intent towards biden, I don’t. I voted for him and was prepared to again. It doesn’t change what he did and turning a blind eye to someone’s actions because of their party affiliation is why America is slipping in the wrong direction. Accountability for all.
Sick days was only a part of what they wanted. Extremely disingenuous to make it out like all their demands were met. I think trump can get fucked, but to ignore the issues with dem leadership is to enable their poor behavior.
Just like when biden sided with the rail workers right??? Ooo wait… he told them to get back to work or get arrested…
Be the change you want to see if that happens.
