Didn’t ed released in 69 and Emacs is in 85?
no I don’t, I have not keeping up with browser news lately after switched to Floorp, not sure if I still live long enough to see Ladybird or Servo officially released

This time I’m trying to use Linux without relying on Flatpak or AppImage, why? I don’t know XD
The program I’m installing (rustdesk) has a pre-compiled version but it’s not working for me on Wayland, that’s why I’m trying to compile from source to see if it work yeah that’s not average experience because most Linux’s programs nowadays already have a pre-compiled version but if the pre-compiled not working the next best thing is to try to compile it yourself, my ram is 8GB 2GB is for the GPU and it’s not upgradeable
You can do this by editing the “issue” file located in /etc/issue, you can put anything in there and it will display in tty login as long as it is text based, if you want it to show date and time or other information here is some possible switches, I recommended Kate if you want ascii because nano can’t display ascii
Oh nice, I’m only just getting started and still don’t know what possible, funny how we use the same font XD
NixOS is cool, the whole Linux configuration in one file is convenient but I already found my home and comfort place that’s Arch btw don’t think I switch to other distro anytime soon
I used to have sddm but this time I forgot to install it after a clean reinstall of Arch (btw) so I use tty for a few day and I quite like it, I think I’m going to use tty login from now on
I finally can sleep now, despite it looks pretty barebones this setup took me 1 week to make everything looks fairly consistent
