Euh, sword art online s2 exists haha
The real deal y0
Euh, sword art online s2 exists haha
Haha ye. It is super interesting to see all those OS principals and seeing how nintendo implemented them. Stuff i will never forget either and some design patterns i have implemented in my actual job too
Makes sense, its also how microplastics are getting everywhere.
Still a big concern though, even if it is low levels
I have. Mostly on embedded devices that have no OS and you need something very specific.
… Or that one time i was reverse engineering a console kernel. I wrote arm asm then. Was actually fun to do tbh
My laptop was in the other room upgrading while i read this. Gave me a heartattack for a second haha.
Everything went fine on my end, but it does look like a bad state it was left in. Got it resolved or…?
Came here to see a bob comment, was happy to found one haha.
Hungry bob might also be found in an adult entertainment shop though xD
Holy crap thats some good stuff. There is room for improvements, but what you made/drew is not easy shit and you nailed it imo!
Thanks!
That was hilarious to see, and the player was good. He went into defensive mode on the second round on the first game, and in the second game he went into faking attacks to trigger reactions and punish when responding wrong. Loved it haha

Thanks! I will take a listen at that video! I imagine in sf3 it could also have been obvious with the parry system
Right, so basically things that decent skills would also get you?
Also, if you feel being aggressive doesnt help you, you start playing defensively and thats when you can strike back. Cheats or not, it still has to attack and is still stuck on the frame limits of the move right? Thats when you can strike back, no?
Im not saying cheating isnt bad, and im not saying its not annoying either, but in general fighters are different and they are completely skill based unless the cheater changes things that the other can never do.
In hindsight, pretty sure ive fought cheaters back in the day in sf4 before, but that was never that bad because i still had options to fight them back…
How would cheating in a fighter even look like? Those games are mostly about reading your opponent. Unlike a fps or moba, all info is on the screen etc :/
Auto combo-ing? Auto reponse? Legit curious as i dont think ive seen cheaters in fighters before, but ive been out of the loop since sf4 haha
Ah, you meant original release date of the amd cpus.
Ye, makes sense.
I personally think they wanted to verify to have no issues in their cpu’s because intel is kinda euh… In a very bad state atm haha. You dont want to be part of that right now xD
… You just contradicted yourself there with the timeline/dates lol.
Wait for intel patch, but release date of cpus is before the expected release date of the microcode patch.
Same, which is funny because i sometimes do that for fun as a hobby lol
Yes, the serial port, bba and memory card all share the exi bus, so from a software standpoint they can all be communicated with via the same bus interface ( but hardware commands/communication is hardware specific ofc )
For more info :

Exactly. Thats why i made the pcb design for the connector, everything is measured out and the pinout is written out too.
It also is connected to the exi bus, which is shared with the memory cards…
Makes no sense tbh
I… Dont know why this exists.
Ive been aware of a few ethernet projects for gamecube and none of them makes sense to me.
All of them use a custom chip/interface and require special code in software.
On top of that, none of them have merged the code into libogc (the open source gamecube homebrew library i help maintain ).
If i were to make a project like this, i’d use a mcu ( pi zero? ) together with a ethernet controller. The mcu would expose the same interface the official bba would, so even games could use it out of the box.
I even made a pcb design for extrems so he had the pcb pinouts just like the official bba to work sonething out of.
But hey, what do i know, right?
Swiss is a homebrew backup launcher for gamecube :)
Same, afaik it was a case of not rendering correctly and in all versions since they just went with it. Cant find a source though…
