This isn’t really a new attack vector, it’s more something someone could take advantage of once a device is compromised.
It takes a little while to get going, I didn’t really get into it until like 4-5 episodes in
You want to make sure they sound real, it’s pretty easy to filter out copy-pasted stuff. make them sound believable :)
I’m very much in support of this, but I’d want to see some way of preventing people from logging in to the same account over Tor and the clearnet. Or at least some very clear communication on why that’s a bad idea.
Yeah, that video was what I was referencing
Arc. The browser company is continuing security updates, but has otherwise stopped all development
Arc. They are only continuing security updates and necessary maintenance. No more feature work, no more bug fixes.
Nah, it’s abandoned as the company turned to ai stuff
Thank you :)
No, unfortunately he’s serious
The CEO came out as a fascist
I’m not sure being full of Nazis would be an issue for proton
I guess it would be an improvement, but it wouldn’t really solve the problem of knowing what you’re pressing.
I guess maybe you could have some light vibration with touch and trigger it with a harder press, but it really feels like we’re putting way more effort into just making worse buttons. I don’t see the tradeoffs being worth it without a lot of investment from both the phone maker and app makers
I could also see the bolt referencing a 240w charger for the 16
Yeah, if they’re able to basically just have to design the chasis and controls that’d work well, idk how well they could though. The inputs are in like the worst possible position for a handheld.
You’d probably have to route them with extension cables to the top / bottom.
I’d love to see it, but I’m skeptical if there’s enough of a market for them to go after it.
I guess they could redesign the chasis in such a way that you’d need a new screen, keyboard, trackpad, etc. But I wouldn’t expect them to do that. They also benefit from reusing as much as possible.
With modular devices like this customer trust is extremely important, and they seem to have been pretty careful not to break it so far.
