Not bad, but I think NECA really nailed the look of the turtles from the movie.
I appreciate the skepticism but I dug it and plan to give the show a try.
Start a yoga practice and keep it up. In 20 years, you’ll thank yourself.
Also a good read!
I’ve heard and read the age concern before but some of the actors in Alien were pretty young too. Also, film as an art form has evolved since then. I’m normally pessimistic or cautiously optimistic with franchise reboots these days but Romulus has me hopefully optimistic. Director had a lot of creative leash to make this movie. When inspired creatives are allowed to cook, tasty usually follows. 🤞🏻
When a long term Star Wars fan (me) and a short term Star Wars fan (wife) both find the show mediocre then it doesn’t reflect well. Wake me up when Andor season 2 is out.
Looks cool! The original wave of TMNT Super7 figures are great.
Those NECA Mirage figures looks sweet! I may add those to my collection.
Who is making these?
Agreed. The meditation scene at the fire place still touches me to the core.
Looks cool! I’m planning to pick it up.
Enjoy!
Probably with something from his belt…
Dang! Those look sweet. I don’t normally consider this scale but they have a lot going for them and I have heard Joy Toy has done a good job with the new Street Fighter figures.
We we also discussing this at !batman@lemmy.world.
I’m surprised how good this looks. It appears to be combining the BtAS aesthetic with some modern darkness. I’m cautiously optimistic.
This series looks to be a nostalgia hit on steroids.
Yeah, I’m feeling similarly. I enjoyed the 2003 series, but am just not attached to it the same way as the live action films and early playmate figures.
Figures are now available for pre-order at a variety of sites. Here are some early images, https://toynewsi.com/news.php?itemid=53182.
Why choose? How about a lightsaber with an adamantium hilt?
